BEFORE - Your First Visit

You’re probably wondering what the next steps are once you’ve decided to give this a shot. You will be invited to create an account through our online portal (you will be emailed a registration link.)

Once your account has been created, you will be asked to fill out online documents through the portal. These MUST be completed prior to your appointment. You will NOT be able to participate in session until they are completed.

Please read the information below regarding payment and policies.

Your First Visit

  1. Take a deep breath. You got this. It’s going to be okay. I promise, I don’t bite.

  2. Give yourself time to find the place (map is below.) It can be a bit confusing. It’s OKAY if you get lost. Again, breathe. You will find it, don’t worry if you end up running behind. First visits are overwhelming.

  3. Bring what you need to be comfortable. We will have refreshments and snacks at the office, but if something helps ease your anxiety, bring it!

  4. Don’t stress about what to wear. 9/10 times I will be dressed more casually then you. Do not try to “impress me” just come in! I’m not judging, I promise!

  5. Lastly, take another breath. You did it. You should be proud of yourself!

I can’t wait to meet you!

Private Pay Fees (Out of Pocket)

I have a self-pay rate for those who do not have insurance or chose to “opt out” of using insurance benefits for services.

Intake Session (First Appointment)

$125

Standard Session (Min 53 Minutes)

$100

I do not believe that financial situations should impact ones ability to receive mental health support. I offer a sliding scale fee for services, let’s have a conversation and see what we can figure out.

Insurance

Aetna, Anthem, BlueCross and BlueShield, Lutheran Preferred, Optum, Physicians Health Plan, Signature Care, Three Rivers Preferred, UMR, & UnitedHealthcare UHC | UBH

It is highly recommended that all clients call and check with their insurance companies regarding their mental health benefits. Doing so before your first appointment ensures that you have an understanding of your financial responsibility for services. Every plan is different based on the details of your particular coverage

Payment Policies

Payment will be collected the day of your session. I accept all major credit cards, HSA & FSA, cash and check. You will be required to place a card on file in our client portal. If you do not have a valid card on file or have an overdue balance that exceeds $200 your sessions will be paused until the issue can be resolved.

Cancelation Policy

Late Cancellation (Less then 24 hours notice)

$75

No Call, No Show

$100

Your card on file will be charged for late cancelations and no shows. Decisions to wave these fees will be made at the therapists discretion. Please be mindful that when a client does not show up for a session, the therapist is not paid for their time and another client was not able to access services.
